Our cottage

Our chalet is a place for anyone who enjoys recharging their batteries in nature – whether as a couple or in the peaceful company of friends and family. You'll find it in an oak-pine forest near Borovany in South Bohemia, in beautiful natural surroundings not far from the Novohradské Mountains. Although it may not seem like it at first glance, there are neighbors nearby, but they can't be seen from the cottage. Enjoy sitting by the crackling fireplace with a book and a cup of tea or breakfast on the deck. There is no wifi in the cabin, so enjoy your time really together.

Budka Kapradí / Birdhouse the Fern

The larch mini house is equipped with a luxurious mattress with muslin bed linen, a mini kitchen, a flushing toilet and a refurbished vintage bathtub on legs. On the terrace you will find a seating area with a sofa, armchair and hammock. You can grill in the outdoor kitchen on an electric grill. Kapradí is one of three mini-houses in our forest oasis. We're on the outskirts of town, and we're right next to the woods. Breakfast is taken care of, there will be goodies from local growers and farms in the fridge. We are happy to give tips on walks and food.

The interior has been completely renovated with a focus on detail, comfort, and functionality. The centerpiece of the studio is a spacious and exceptionally comfortable bed with a high-quality mattress, ensuring perfect rest after a day spent exploring the city. There is also a fully equipped kitchen, ideal for anyone who wants to enjoy home cooking while traveling.

TinyHouse Wild West

Experience the freedom of the Wild West! Tiny House Wild West stands right above a pond in the middle of pastures, where cows roam freely and the peace is disturbed only by the crackling of fire. Relax in a hot tub with a massage system, swim in a pond or try to catch your own fish. Tanned wood, the smell of nature and complete privacy - here you are only you, nature and freedom. And if one pond wasn't enough for you, 100 meters to the southwest you'll find another pond in the middle of the wilderness.

Chalet Heart³

The newly built wooden chalet was completed with a lot of love for detail in March 2024. It was built in a modern style and meets the highest energy requirements. The path from your own parking space, through the house, to the covered veranda with new, electrically heated hot tub was designed at ground level. Inside you can make yourself comfortable with the wood-burning stove and your own sauna (free of charge). The National Park cycling path and beautiful hiking trails are within walking distance.

A Riverside Retreat

Our private and cozy apartment blends old-world charm with essential amenities, offering a genuine taste of life in this fairy-tale riverside town. From our garden, you can view resident beavers going about their evening routines, herons fishing in the shallows, and waterfowl paddling with and against the current. This five-hundred-year-old house retains its traditional character with original architectural details and thick stone walls, while thoughtful updates ensure modern comfort.

Scharferl

Welcome to Scharferl! Two cozy wooden cabins connected by a covered terrace. In the cabin, there is a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and a living room. The separate sleeping cabin offers a large double bed and a private balcony overlooking the countryside. A stream with private access flows right by the house. The terrace invites you to have breakfast and relax in nature. Coffee maker: Nespresso Inissia. Absolutely! Look forward to seeing you!

Just get out - Mühlviertel in all seasons

70 m² apartment on the middle floor of our house - very idyllic location, garden, forest, all around peace and quiet. The right thing for a short break. Arrival by public transport is possible (we pick you up from the bus station - shopping on site is possible). If you want and come by car, you can also make a day trip to Cesky Krumlov, Prague, Passau, Vienna or Linz. Couples, solo travelers and families with children are welcome. Pets are allowed.

Lipno 30 minutes by car, Šumava National Park within an hour — the densest network of marked trails in the Czech Republic begins practically at the door.
