The basement northern location ensures a pleasant climate with hot summer temperatures. The climate is balanced throughout the year and usually quite pleasant (ok, a matter of interpretation). The city and the region have a high recreational value. To the cities of Basel and Freiburg are both approximately 30 km away and the Black Forest is just outside the door. The infrastructure in Müllheim offers everything you need for everyday life due to the size of the place. Even the southern Baden cuisine and above all, wines are generally described as very good. The apartment is offered as a Non smoking apartment, but there is a covered space that smokers do not have to stand in the rain (yes, sometimes it rains even here)

Recreation, culture & sports in the wine village of Auggen in the border triangle in a new self-contained apartment. Regardless of the season, the Black Forest is an ideal recreational area. Hiking, climbing and mountain biking are just a few of the possible activities. Nearby is the Europapark Rust amusement park. The cities of Freiburg (Germany), Basel (Switzerland) and Strasbourg (France) are all good, mostly also accessible by public transport. After consultation, our sauna can be used for a small fee.

Charming private room in a farmhouse

Our farmhouse is situated at the famous black forest western hiking trail and on a hill with views overlooking three countries. Our guest room offers a small kitchen unit with a fridge where our guests can prepare breakfast and cold meals. There is no water supply in the bedroom but in the spacious bathroom opposite. You can find restaurants from vegan, traditional to haute cusine within a less than a mile. There are buses to Basel, Lörrach and Kandern. By car it takes 20 minutes to Basel.

The penthouse apartment is brand new and is located on the edge of a very quiet residential area. From the large balcony you can look at the vines/vineyards. Our apartment has 1 bedroom with 2 very comfortable double beds, 1 large open living room with sofa & flat-screen TV, 1 bathroom with shower, 1 toilet, kitchen, dining area & balcony.

Pfaffenberg is a small village at 700 meters above sea level above the Wiesen Valley with proximity to Switzerland and France. Our Black Forest house with a south-facing location offers up to three guests a cozy stay. The border triangle allows a variety of cultural and sporting leisure activities. I have traveled a lot myself, speak good German, English, French, Spanish and a little Italian and am always very happy about guests from near and far.
