The house is on the western slope of the Sierra del Suido, a natural barrier that separates the provinces of Pontevedra and Ourense. The Xirarga valley extends at the foot of it. Nearby we have the emblematic Mount Seixo, in the Sierra do Cando, with heights of 1000. On good days we can see the Pontevedra and Arousa estuaries from there. Coenga Chapel

Old chapel restored as a home in one of the most emblematic estates for making Ribeiro wine. The first mentions of the Compostelana chapter property in the vicinity of Ribadavia date back to the end of the 12th century. The chapel dedicated to Santiago, along with the manor house, belonged to the Cabildo De Santiago, which personally exploited it due to its wealth in the production of the highly valued Ribeiro wine.
