Beautifully Restored Cottage with Patio in Historic Center D

Gather in the peaceful courtyard like the locals do, or have a drink on the private patio built into the 13th-century Fernandina Wall. This artisan-restored cottage enchants with an impeccable modern aesthetic that respects its original architecture. Patio São Vicente is tucked away in the corner of the Telheiro do Sao Vicente square in a private Patio. The cottages of “Patio São Vicente” have been completely restored respecting the original architecture yet designed with a modern aesthetic by Paratelier architects. Using Portuguese artisans and designers, the interiors are cosy, comfortable and carefully crafted with custom carpentry. The buildings are of historic importance. The 13th century original wall of Lisbon the “Muralha Fernandina” is integrated into the back wall of each of the living rooms. The corner turret is visible from the courtyard and can be accessed by the garden of one the apartments. Sit in the quiet, shady patio at your own table, the perfect work or rest space after a long day’s sightseeing. The patio is a natural space for groups, friends or extended families to gather and enjoy time together, while still having the privacy of their own houses. “Casinha D" is divided over 2 floors, the ground floor has a full open kitchen, dining area, wood panelled small lounge and a living room with a sofa-bed and small private outdoor space. There is also a bathroom with shower on this floor. Upstairs there are 2 sleeping areas divided by a corridor and a bathroom with shower. This is a peaceful space perfect for a good night sleep, sheltered with the “muralha” and completed with custom storage. Tapada da Raia has 35 acres of land, in the Natural Park of Serra de São Mamede (being the last Portuguese house, because it is bordered to Spain). For years it served as an anti-stress refuge for the family, who today decided to open the doors for those who want to spend relaxing days in the nature. It has heaters in the bedrooms, air conditioning in the living room. The living room has a fireplace. The stairs to the second bedroom are Santos Dumont stairs: sloping, with each step going back on the side that won't be used for the ascent).
