The modern cabin from 2022 is located in the beach zone on Herlandsneset at the end of Atløy in Askvoll Municipality in Sogn og Fjordane. The plot is sunny with panoramic sea views that can be enjoyed from the cabin's hot tub. There is a fabulous view from the cabin towards the island of Kinn in the northwest, a landmark and the area is known as a sailing landmark along the coast. To the southwest you can see the well-known viewpoint Brurastakken and the popular hiking island Alden also called Norske Hesten. With the cabin's motorboat you can travel there and to Værlandet and Bulandet.

With us, you also have the opportunity to borrow a canoe and kayak (however, we require that you have taken a kayaking course - for your own safety) We have vests and fishing equipment available. Short distance to experiences in Gaularfjellet, Jølster, Førde and Sunnfjord. The absolute maximum number of guests is 6.

Jølster offers beautiful nature and good fishing opportunities in Jølstervannet, which is known as a very good fishing water. Here there is great hiking terrain with marked hiking trails. From the cabin it is a short distance to the shop, golf course and Jølster ski center. Jølster offers cultural experiences, local crafts, and an art museum. From the cabin it is walking distance to Tindefjelle and Steinegga.
