Cheia - traditional old village in Transylvania

Cheia village is located in the heart of the Apuseni Mountains of Transylvania, right next to the beautiful Râmeț Gorges (Cheile Râmețului) and three other scenic gorges. We are surrounded by forests, majestic mountains, and wild landscapes. The guesthouse is a renovated, original thatched house from the 19th century. Our place is remote and can be reached on foot via a marked trail or by 4x4 in dry weather, with proper tires. We can also arrange transport by car from Brădeşti to our location.

A little house with everything you need +hammocks

Many times those who stayed here chose to return. Is a small and cozy house, the old household of our grandparents, recently restored to offer you everything you need to make you're stay like home here in the heart of Transylvania Mountains. It can accommodate max 3 people (one double bed + one single), has a bathroom and a well equipped kitchen, a small library, free wifi (perfect for working remote as I also do) and the heating with the wooden stove will give you a warm and welcome feeling.

Lazy Cottage is located on the "The valley of beauty" ( Sebes valley ) in the Village of Laz, Alba, on the start of the Transalpina Road next to the river Sebes. It is what we call a "Home away from home" for whomever chooses to visit us, because you'll find here everything you'll need in a household and a bit more. For the rainy and cold days there is also a fireplace to keep you warm and cozy and a bunch of board games to choose from. Since we love pets, they are welcome as well !

Take a break and relax in this peaceful oasis. Here you can escape the noise and urban stress, leaving behind the daily bustle and concerns. Accommodation capacity 10 people. The cottage is approx: 30 km from Alba-Iulia, approx. 5 km from the protected area "Cheile Caprei"( Cheile Fenesului) and approx. 20 km from the protected area "Poiana cu Narcise" from Negarleasa. We have 2 rooms with double beds and a 1 person bed and a room with 2 beds.

The bedroom features a spacious bed dressed in soft linens and decorative pillows. Natural light enters through a large window, paired with sheer curtains. A piece of wall art is displayed, complemented by warm wood flooring that adds a touch of elegance.

We invested a lot of love and enthusiasm and we worked with a professional interior designer for you to feel AT HOME as well. It is a 10-minute walk from Alba Carolina Fortress. It is very close to the city train and bus station, supermarkets,restaurants,pharmacies .
