Within a radius of about 25 km there are different villages of tourist interest such as Ribadavia, the border with Portugal, the nearest village being Melgaco and Castro Laboreiro with beautiful landscapes of the Peneda-Geres natural park. Well connected to Orense and Vigo (45 m).

Casa Merteira has been completely renovated and designed to disconnect. Located on the outskirts of the city, in a quiet area 5 minutes by car from the intermodal station and downtown; we have an urban bus stop in front of the accommodation. Allariz or Ribadavia are a 20-minute drive away, Ribeira Sacra is 45 minutes away; Vigo or Santiago are 1 hour away. It is distributed in a living room-kitchen, bathroom and double bedroom on the lower floor and a double bedroom with bathroom on the upper floor.

Situada en un ambiente rural y tranquilo con estupendas vistas al río Miño a 30km de Ourense, 40km de Vigo y fronterizo con Portugal. Esta ubicación permite conocer lugares con encanto a escasos km como son las termas de Prexigueiro, Melgaço, Balneario de Cortegada, zona do Ribeiro… Además de numerosas rutas de senderismo.

Coenga Chapel

Old chapel restored as a home in one of the most emblematic estates for making Ribeiro wine. The first mentions of the Compostelana chapter property in the vicinity of Ribadavia date back to the end of the 12th century. The chapel dedicated to Santiago, along with the manor house, belonged to the Cabildo De Santiago, which personally exploited it due to its wealth in the production of the highly valued Ribeiro wine.
